This is something unique. Real insider information for the perfect day that will be low cost, but full of adventure. and animals. If you have a car you will not need to talk to us at all because you can drive yourself. Taxi: $300 for the day. Alturas is open other days besides Friday but the farmers market is only friday. You can do this any day, but if you want the market too, it must be friday. 

 

6am: Leave 6a for Nauyaca Waterfall. I suggest you take the tractor ride in unless you love hiking. You go this early to beat all the tour groups and crowds

9am: After a couple hours head back to dominical for the farmers market. Its super hippie oriented. Food, clothes and holistic knowledge.

11:30am: Eat at the Farmers Market or along the river at Mono Congo. Go shopping even more along the stone and shaded beach path  to enjoy their huge outdoor souvenir set up.

1pm: Go to Alturas Wildlife refuge

​Decription

Leaving the Marina Pez Vela of Quepos in a 31 ft. boat, we start our journey along the coast of Manuel Antonio which the total duration is approximately 2 h ½! Reaching Biezans beach we will snorkel for 1 hour  around volcanic rocks, this beach stands out for a great variety of fish and marine species, afterwards we take a break with fruit and water! The journey continues looking for our second snorkeling site where will see different species, there after we end our adventure.

Ocean Kayaking w. Snorkeling

A very unique way to enjoy the Quepos and Manuel Antonio coastlines from a new perspective.  A challenging half-day journey along the coastlines of Quepos and Manuel Antonio, closely passing islands and inlets that are the mating refuges of many species of marine birds. A sea kayaking tour is an opportunity to get a close look at the myriad of life below and above the ocean’s surface, from flying fish and sea turtles to frigate birds and pelicans.
This trip starts from the rocky Maracas beach in Quepos and takes you along the coast, where you will get to stop and relax at the incredible paradise of the Biesanz Beach cove and enjoy a snack. We have single or double kayaks available, and cannot wait to show you the beauty of kayaking in the clear Pacific Ocean waters. Previous kayak experience is not required for this tour, but it is important to note that attimes the ocean can be choppy and require paddling skills.

The closest thing to a zoo, I like this more for children. With our tours you can visit our beautiful Wildlife Sanctuary and learn more about Costa Rica’s native wildlife.   During your tour you will learn about some of our installing wildlife bridges, reforestation projects, and rescuing and rehabilitating displaced animals through our wildlife hospital.
